DESCRIPTION:

This is a wonderful piece of Navajo artistry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by Wilbert Muskett Sr., out of genuine sterling silver and a real Turquoise stone. The Bolo piece has a Turquoise stone that is gently set in a hand cut shadow box bezel setting while being accented by twisted silver, along with a hand crafted bear paw design for a marvelous finish. The tips of the bolo tie are accented with traditional imprinted designs. The bolo tie is stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of their appeal and beauty.
