DESCRIPTION:

This is a very exquisite necklace set that must not be overlooked! This Native American jewelry set is Navajo hand crafted and strung by artist Louise Yazzie, out of genuine sterling silver, along with real Turquoise and Corals. The necklace is composed of one Naja (the crescent-shaped large center pendant) and double strands of 8-mm silver eccentric beads that are placed at regular intervals among the round side of the center. The Naja is set with THREE stones, while each side of the necklace has SEVEN stones that are attached to three silver petals which are called squash blossoms. All of the stones are gently set in hand cut bezel, while being accented by twisted silver and hand crafted silver. The necklace is stamped sterling and hallmarked. Entire traditional necklace is flexible "not stiff". The earrings have a total of TWO stones (ONE in each earring) and perfectly match the necklace for a extraordinary finish to this set. The earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked. This entire set has a total of NINETEEN stones.

Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

    Made 4 Me

My Turquoise and Coral Navajo bead necklace is a personality piece. The beads are excellent and the customer support the same, excellent. I had questions all of which were answered and I also had a slight change in the clasp request which wasn't a problem to suit my needs. The necklace was shipped next day and I will not hesitate to order again from Native American Jewelry if I come across something else that catches my eye. I'm glad they are not near by as I might spend more if I could see it all in person. LOL Thank you to the sales team and designers for a real nice piece that sparks conversation.
