DESCRIPTION:
This pair of earrings is a true treasure! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Begay, out of genuine sterling silver and real Tiger Eye stones. This pair of earrings has a total of TWO stones (ONE in each earring) that are carefully set in a hand cut bezel setting, while hand crafted silver work creates a charming turtle design for a delightful finish. In Native American beliefs, the turtle represents strength, female power, and fertility. The turtle is also considered to be able to defy death.
Tiger Eye stone contains a golden yellow reflection on a brown ground color. The most important source of tiger eye is South Africa, but it is also found in Australia, India, and California. It is believed to give courage, clear thinking, and protects from negativity.
