DESCRIPTION:

This is a very gorgeous pair of earrings that would make a great gift! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted out of authentic sterling silver and man made Opal stones. The earrings have a total of TWO stones (ONE in each earring) that are gently placed in hand cut bezel settings, while twisted silver accents for an amazing finish.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
