DESCRIPTION:

Excellent craftsmanship is shown throughout this amazing ring! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted by artist Ray Jack, out of genuine sterling silver, man made Opal and real multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Turquoise, Coral, Jet, Malachite, Mother of Pearl, Red and Orange Oyster Shell. The inlay is carefully set, while thin silver lines and imprinted designs can be seen accenting and completing the ring with a perfect finish.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.

Turquoise is the birthstone of December. It is believed that turquoise tends to bring good fortune, strength and helps overcome illness. Turquoise got its name from the Levantine traders called Turks who brought the stone to Europe from Persia via Turkey centuries ago. Native Americans have prized turquoise since the time of the Aztecs, who mined it in New Mexico. The natural variations that occur in turquoise are part of its appeal and beauty.

    Gifts for family

We recently had a trip to Arizona and wanted to shop for Native Indian jewelry. I ended up sick during the trip and didn't get to shop. We found your site on Google and it captured what we were wanting to find. The owl earrings are going to a daughter in law that loves owls and other earrings to her girls. Thank you for being here.
