DESCRIPTION:
This lovely ring is a work of art and has everything you could possibly want from a piece of Native American jewelry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Betty Begay, out of genuine sterling silver and a real Howlite stone. The stone is carefully placed in a hand cut bezel setting, while being complimented by twisted silver and stamped patterns for a dazzling finish.
Howlite is named after its discoverer Henry How. Howlite is known for its great final polish and rich luster. Howlite is often mistaken for "white buffalo" or "white turquoise" due to the similarity of appearance. Howlite is a combination of pure white with black veins; highlighting the beauty and balance of opposites. Howlite has high calcium content for strong healthy bones and teeth. It would make a wonderful gift for a pregnant or nursing mother.
