In this belt buckle, the second layer forms an outstanding Deer, Water Wave, Native American, and border pattern designs that gives the piece a perfect look. In Native American beliefs, the water waves design represents continuous life. Deer is a hunting prey animal. It is used as a sacrifice also mentioned as "first helper" in some emergence stories.
