DESCRIPTION:
An offer like this will not last long! This Native American jewelry set is Navajo overlay hand crafted and strung by artist Alex Sanchez, out of genuine sterling silver and real Corals. Overlay is a process that utilizes at least two layers of sterling silver. One layer forms the foundation, while the second is used to design the individual detailed overlay. In this necklace set the second layer creates outstanding designs that include: dragonfly, water wave, bear, turtle, hand, and more! The necklace is composed of one Naja (the crescent-shaped large center pendant) and double strands of 6-mm silver eccentric round beads that are placed at regular intervals among the round side of the center. Each side of the necklace has FOUR links that are each set with ONE coral, while the center piece has TWO corals that are gently set in hand cut bezel settings for an elegant look. Entire traditional necklace is flexible "not stiff". The earrings are set with TWO corals (ONE in each earring) and perfectly macth the necklace for a dazzling finish to this set! Dragonflies are connected with water springtime, fertility, renewal, and are considered a messenger. In Native American beliefs, the water waves design represents continuous life. The entire set has a total of TWELVE stones. The necklace and earrings are stamped sterling and hallmarked by the artist.
Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
