The inlay is delicately set, while thin silver lines, twisted silver, and silver designs can be seen accenting the ring for a beautiful look. The ring is stamped sterling, Zuni, and hallmarked by the artist.
Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is the birthstone for October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
