DESCRIPTION:

This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo hand crafted, by artist Grace Kenneth, out of authentic sterling silver and man made Pink Opal. The stone is delicately set in a hand cut bezel, while mini silver beads can be seen accenting the ring for a phenomenal look. The ring is stamped sterling.

Most people know Opal for its distinctive play of color, it is a semi-transparent solidified mineral composed of silicon and water, and it gets its name from the Latin word "Oplus" meaning precious stone. Opal is birthstone of October. It is believed to release self-consciousness allowing spontaneous action, and awakens psychic and mystical qualities.
