The necklace is made up of THREE strands that consist of: 2-mm silver round beads, 6-mm Carnelian round beads, and Amber free-formed beads that have an average measurement of 8-mm. The necklace can be worn one of two ways, loosely around the neck or slightly twisted for an additional fashion statement. Each end of the necklace is completed with a silver cone and beads for a wonderful finish. The cones are stamped sterling.
Amber is known to be very protective, it also calm nervousness, relieves depression, spiritualizes the mind, and draws diseases and negativity out of the body. Even though amber is sometimes called a stone, it is not, it is actually fossil resin.
Carnelian is the birthstone of August. It increases energy, and adds endurance along with encouragement. It is also believed to still the blood and calm the temper. Carnelian is a flesh-red to brown-red, translucent to opaque type of chalcedony. Its red comes from iron within the stone.
