DESCRIPTION:

This delightful pendant would make a great addition to your jewelry collection! This piece of Native American jewelry is Navajo, hand crafted out of genuine sterling silver and a real Malachite stone. The stone is carefully set in a hand cut bezel setting, while placed at the center of a marvelous silver spider design. Hand crafted silver forms the head and legs of the spider for a gorgeous finish.

Malachite is famous for its radial banding and deep green color. Popular today for use in Southwestern style jewelry, malachite was also popular in the past with the ancient Egyptians, Greeks, and Romans. It was worn as a good luck charm to keep away danger and illness. It is believed to balance and stabilize ones emotions.
