Post earrings measure approximately 1/2" long and 3/8" at widest point.
This lovely pair of earrings is a work of art and has everything you could possibly want from a piece of Native American jewelry! This piece of Native American jewelry is Zuni hand crafted by artist Tracy Bowekaty, out of genuine sterling silver and real multicolor inlay. The inlay consists of: Yellow Mother of Pearl, Lapis, Coral, and Malachite. The Mother of Pearl is hand carved to look like individual pieces of corn, then it is carefully placed into a corn shaped silver setting. In the Mother of Pearl, other stones can be seen resembling different colors of corn. Silver beads can be seen accenting the earrings for a perfect finish. The corn is a powerful symbol in many tribes. It is used for prayer of fertility and a good growing season. Earrings are signed by the artist.
Pearls are known to stabilize and balance emotions. They are believed to help your body in using calcium better. Pearls are full of purity and integrity.
Corals are known to be very soothing and very protective. Coral is of an organic origin; it is the skeletal remains of marine animals called Coral Polyps. Colonies of these tiny creatures build branching structures as they grow, gradually forming reefs and atolls.
